Friday’s announcement about Sun and Microsoft Interoperability was interesting to me for the announcement about the Single Sign On (SSO) agreement. We’ve had mixed proposals (the WS-* specs from Microsoft and the Liberty specs from Sun) for a while now, and have had to keep promising that a resolution would come. Now it has been announced, int he form of two draft specifications: Web Single Sign-On Metadata Exchange (Web SSO MEX) Protocol and Web Single Sign-On Interoperability Profile (Web SSO Interop profile).
